Dr. Pasquale Alvaro

Clinical Psychologist & Director

PhD, MClinPsych, BPsych (Hons), BHealthSci

Pasquale has been practicing as a Clinical Psychologist since 2020, working with adults and older adolescents. He has extensive experience in public psychiatry, private practice, Victorian amateur football clubs, and specialist services, working in settings such as an adult inpatient unit, community psychiatry, acute concussion clinic, and psychological trauma services.

Pasquale is a friendly, empathetic, caring, non-judgemental and enthusiastic clinician, who uses a collaborative and client-centred approach. He aims to empower clients to improve their emotional wellbeing, and achieve their life, work and performance-related goals. Pasquale uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), schema therapy and Socratic Dialogue to explore, assess and treat mental health concerns, and to help clients reach their goals.

He is currently undertaking Advanced Schema Therapy accreditation.

Mon–Fri 6–7pm — Telehealth (videoconference) only

Sat 8am–5pm — In-person & telehealth
